When humanity is threatened only the super powered might of the Toronto Maple Leafs can be counted on to save the day. As the days start to get longer the Maple Leafs start to focus on their true goal. The only thing that can get in their way is themselves.

Travis Dermott wraps his old teammate Connor McDavid in a hug. The two men hold the embrace. Connor sobs into Travis’ hurt shoulder. The Leaf winces But doesn’t stop the Oiler from letting it all out.

“It’s not your fault.” Travis says. “It’s not your fault.”

It may not be Connors fault but he still has to pay the price. Incompetence can diminish even the brightest of stars.
